Queensland Health has announced that CQ Radiology has been successful in its bid to provide on-site medical imaging services to the Central Queensland and Hospital Health Service district (CQHHS)
We bring innovative and comprehensive imaging services that offers a value for money solution to the Queensland Government. CQ Radiology can deliver to the CQHHS a more advanced level of diagnostic imaging, through a team of specialised Radiologists that have the expertise with RANZCR fellowships. We are able to bring new advanced services and technologies across the CQHHS region to greatly benefit the hospitals and improve the health and wellbeing of CQHHS community through the following new services.
Our subspecialties include cardiothoracic, breast, musculoskeletal, interventional, multi-parametric prostate MRI, advanced abdominal, pelvic imaging and advanced women’s imaging.
Our operating model uses a best practice approach to procuring staff, specialists, capabilities, and assets (including intangible assets like constructive work culture) so that the quality of care and teaching is never compromised, no matter time of day (or night). This is in line with Queensland Health principles and delivers the desired objectives at a cost effective manner to the CQHHS Hospitals.
CQ Radiology is part of the Imaging Queensland Group and is owned and operated by a team of 6 dedicated and local Radiologists. We have extensive experience in providing medical imaging services to hospital patients through our existing operations with Australia’s largest private provider Ramsay Health Care.
